It’s official: The Boston College Eagles have been knocked out of the ACC Tournament by Boston College in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
Bears QB Christian McCaffrey completed just three of 11 passes for 27 yards as the Eagles lost 27-0 to Boston College.
McCaffrey threw an interception and an interception returned for a touchdown that gave the Eagles a 10-7 lead in the second quarter.
That gave the Bears a 14-7 halftime lead.
The Eagles then marched down the field for a 24-0 lead.
That allowed Boston College to take a 14, 24-10 lead into the fourth quarter and took control of the game.
The final score was 27-3.
The Bears (7-6, 5-6 Atlantic Coast Conference) now play host to No. 6 Villanova on Saturday night at Fenway Park.
