The Big 12’s first conference, the Big 12 Conference of Major Athletic Conference, is expected to be announced in May.
The Big 12 has nine member institutions, which is a new conference and a bit different from the Pac-12, which was in the same league but had a league with a smaller membership and smaller television deals.
The Big East is set to debut this fall and is expected be joined by the Big Ten and SEC.
The conference has also been looking to expand its footprint, with the conference seeking to add a 10th member in 2020.
The conference has been seeking to join the ACC, Pac-10, Big Ten, SEC, Big 12 and Big East.
The ACC is the first conference in the Big East to officially announce it would join the league, according to an ACC source.
The ACC is expected at the league’s spring meetings, where it will also have its first full-time head coach.
The ACC also has an existing TV deal with ESPN, and the league will begin play in 2019.
