Mount Holyokes will host Penn State in the inaugural college football game on Thursday night, the school announced on Wednesday.
The game, which will be broadcast live on ESPN2, will be played at 7 p.m. at the Mount Holyomes Athletic Center in Holyoke.
The game will be available to watch on ESPN.
Mount Holyots head coach Scott Wierzbicki said in a statement that he is very proud of his team and will do everything he can to help them win this game.
“We’re excited to be hosting Penn State on Thursday, March 1, 2019.
We know we have a big game coming up,” he said.
“I know this will be a great rivalry game.
We’re excited about this.
I can’t wait for you to see this!””
We know Penn State has been around Mount Holyotk for a long time, and I think we’ll have a great opportunity to see some of our old rivals play each other,” Wierzbicki added.
The Mount Holyos were ranked No. 6 nationally in 2019 and No. 9 in 2020.
They were also No. 4 in 2019, No. 3 in 2020 and No 3 in 2021.
The Big Ten and ACC schools are scheduled to play at 7:30 p.
