Emmanuel College has suspended its relationship with a college student accused in an alleged sexual assault of two other students.
According to a news release from the college, Emmanuel College is suspending the student’s employment with the university pending the outcome of an internal investigation.
Emanuel College officials have confirmed the suspension but have not given further details.
The university issued a statement Monday saying the student is no longer a student and that he has been suspended without pay pending the completion of an investigation.

According to a report in the Orlando Sentinel, Emmanuel students reported that the student “raped a male student during a party and that the victim’s roommate reported the incident to campus security.”
The student, who is not being identified by name, has been charged with rape, battery and resisting arrest, according to the news release.
He is being held in the Orange County Jail without bail.
According the release, the two students told police that the sexual assault happened in October 2017.
The two students reported the sexual incident to Emmanuel College on Sept. 19.
Emmanuel officials are working with police to determine whether the case was investigated properly.
